(OTTAWA) May 14, 2008 - Batter up! Ottawa Rapidz tickets are now on sale - and just a mouse click away.
Game day tickets, Rapidz Packs, MVP Memberships, group tickets, season tickets and gift certificates are available for purchase online at www.ottawarapidz.ca any time of day or night, or at the Stadium Box Office, or by phone (613) 820-4000.
Reflecting the Rapidz' focus on fun family entertainment, prices for the 2008 season are great value:
- $4 for children under 14, anywhere in the stadium (about half last year's price of $7-9)
- $7 for students and seniors (last year students were $9-11; seniors $7-9)
- $10 for adults (last year $9-11)
- Rapidz Packs of 10 flexible ticket vouchers for $89 adults, $59 for students/seniors
- MVP Memberships with 25 flexible ticket vouchers, members-only lounges and luncheons with Field Manager Ed Nottle
- Group tickets for $4 ($3 for fundraising groups)
On top of great prices, baseball fans can now go online any time to select and purchase the best-available seats for any game. Plus, the new "print-at-home" feature allows fans to print their tickets at home, and speed right to their chosen seats when they arrive at the stadium without stopping at box office. Thanks to state-of-the-art Audience View ticketing software (the same as used by the Toronto Blue Jays and many other leading sports and entertainment venues), tickets print with a bar code which is scanned by Ottawa Rapidz greeters at the Stadium making entry into the stadium fast and simple. There is no additional fee for this convenience.
Ottawa Rapidz' fans have a single preseason opportunity to see the new team in action, with a holiday weekend exhibition game against new league rivals Québec City Capitales on Sunday May 18, starting at 1:05 pm. All tickets for this preseason game are $4.
The Rapidz' regular Can-Am League regular season opens with a four-game home-stand against the New Jersey Jackals, on May 22-23-24-25.
