The Quad City Storm added a pair of defenseman to their roster Monday before the SPHL trade deadline.

The Storm traded the rights for Danny Cesarz to the Macon Mayhem in exchange for Brian Rowland and Sam Wilbur and then traded the rights for Sam Wilbur to the Fayetteville Marksmen for Paul Fregeau.

Rowland has played in 41 games this season and recorded seven goals and eleven assists. He is a native of Waltham, MA and is in his second year of professional hockey.

Fregeau is a second-year pro in his first full SPHL season. He has scored a goal and earned five assists this season for Fayetteville and spent time last season with FHL Watertown and Roanoke after finishing his college playing career at SUNY-Cortland.

The Storm has also released Bryan Hovanec and Dominick Horvath from their amateur contracts.
