
Justin Levac Acquired from Macon

ROANOKE, Va. - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs have acquired forward Justin Levac from the Macon Mayhem in exchange for defenseman Brian Rowland in advance of Monday's SPHL trade deadline.
Levac is in his first season with the Mayhem and his ninth as a professional. He first turned pro in the 2010-11 season after playing the majority of his junior hockey in the Major Junior OHL. Since joining the professional ranks, Levac has appeared in 409 games across the CHL, ECHL, FHL and SPHL. The 29-year-old crossed the 400 game milestone this season with the Mayhem where he has four goals, 21 assists and a +18 plus/minus over 41 games played.
Rowland is in his second pro season out of Norwich University, both of which have come with the Rail Yard Dawgs. He appeared in 16 games in the 2017-18 season around an IR stint and this season has seven goals and 12 assists in 41 games for Roanoke this year.
The Rail Yard Dawgs return to the ice on Friday night in Pensacola against the Ice Flyers. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 PM CST at the Pensacola Bay Center and the pregame show begins at 7:20 PM on the Haley Toyota Rail Yard Dawgs Hockey Network.
