The Basics

Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. Philadelphia Union

Tuesday, February 10 at 6 p.m.

Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex, Clearwater, Fla. (2450 Drew Street, Clearwater, FL 33765)

Admission

Admission is $5 at the field, cash-only. All proceeds will benefit Chargers Soccer Club.

Format

The clubs will play two 45-minute halves. Unlimited substitutions will be allowed. The Rowdies are expected to make halftime substitutions en masse and play completely different lineups in each half. The Rowdies will be debuting a preseason Nike jersey that will be available for purchase soon.

All 18 signed Rowdies will be available for selection, plus 13 trialists that are in preseason camp with the team.

The Rowdies will travel south to the IMG Academy in Bradenton for an international match against Swedish giants Malmö FF on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.

Malmo FF is the reigning Swedish Allsvenskan champion and was placed in a 2014-2015 UEFA Champions League group with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid, Italian champions Juventus and Greek champions Olympiacos but did not advance to the knockout stage.
