DES MOINES, Iowa - Persistent rains in central Iowa have forced the postponement of tonight's series opener between the Round Rock Express and the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Monday, April 26. The Express and Cubs will play two seven-inning games, starting at 5 p.m. CDT.
The series begins Sunday with a 1:05 p.m. first pitch. Southpaw Gustavo Chacin (0-1, 2.03 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Express, while the Cubs counter with right-hander Jay Jackson (2-1, 2.00 ERA).
