RoughRiders Webcasts Return this Weekend

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- Cedar Rapids RoughRiders game webcasts will return this weekend on the team's official web site, www.roughridershockey.com.

Fans will be able to listen on-line to all of the RoughRiders' remaining regular season and playoff games. This weekend the Riders will play a home-and-home series with the Sioux City Musketeers. The Riders will visit Sioux City Friday night before returning home to host the Musketeers Saturday evening. Friday's webcast starts at 7:30PM, while Saturday's will begin at 7:00PM.

RoughRiders webcasts are hosted by Informatics. Fans can use Windows Media Player to listen to webcasts. Windows Media Player can be downloaded free of charge at www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp.

"We're very excited about having the chance to once again webcast RoughRiders games. We know RoughRiders fans both in Cedar Rapids and elsewhere missed the opportunity to follow the team via webcast," said Riders director of media relations and broadcasting Brian Lavelle. "We're also thankful to Informatics for all the work they have done to make the return of webcasts possible."

RoughRiders games, including this weekend's, are also broadcast over the radio on AM-1360 The Fan in Cedar Rapids and KXIC 800-AM in Iowa City.

The RoughRiders (28-20-2, 58 points) are currently in second place in the United States Hockey League's East Division, four points behind the division-leading Chicago Steel. Tickets for Saturday's game and the rest of the RoughRiders' remaining home dates are now on sale at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or in person at the ice arena. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $8.00 to $17.00 including a 50-cent facility fee.
