Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will face the Indiana Ice in the best-of-five first round of the United States Hockey League's Clark Cup Playoffs beginning with the series opener Friday night at 7:05 at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

The Riders, who finished the regular season in second place in the USHL's East Division with a 38-17-5 record and 81 points, will also host third place Indiana (39-19-2, 80 points) in game two Saturday night at 7:05. The series will shift to Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis for game three on Wednesday night, April 15 at 6:35 and, if necessary, game four on Friday, April 17 at 6:35PM. If a fifth and deciding game is required, it will be played in Cedar Rapids on Saturday night, April 18 at 7:05.

Tickets to RoughRiders home playoff games go on sale tomorrow at 11:00AM at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office. Tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or online at www.roughridershockey.com. Playoff ticket prices range from $10 to $18. The ticket office will be open from 11:00AM to 5:00PM on weekdays and from 11:00AM through the end of the second period on game days.

The RoughRiders will also for the first time ever offer the Family Four Pack for all home playoff games. The Four Pack enables fans to purchase four yellow zone tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and four game programs all for just $44.

The Riders were actually in first place overall after closing out their regular season schedule with a 4-1 win over the Black Hawks last night in Waterloo; however, the Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Des Buccaneers 6-4 this evening in the very last game of the USHL's regular season to finish one point ahead of the Riders and claim the Anderson Cup regular season title and the East Division championship.

This is the fourth playoff meeting between the Riders and Ice in the last five years. The two teams last met in the postseason in the spring of 2007 when the Ice defeated the Riders in a one-game second round round robin match-up. In 2006 Cedar Rapids edged Indiana three games to two in the opening round. The Riders swept the Ice in three straight games in round one on the way to winning the 2005 Clark Cup title.
