
Eddy named to USHL All-Rookie Team

The United States Hockey League announced today that Stampede forward David Eddy has been named to the Center Trophy USHL All-Rookie Team.
The Woodbury, MN native finished the regular season second in team scoring with 56 points in 60 games. He led the team in assists with 35 and was third in goals scored with 21. Eddy was a third round selection of the Stampede in the 2008 USHL Draft after posting 64 points in 29 games with Woodbury High School last year.
The Stampede finished the regular season Saturday night with a 5-2 win over Tri-City in Kearney, NE. The Herd finished the year with a 28-28-4 record and are now preparing for the first round of the Clark Cup Playoffs. The Stampede will face the Lincoln Stars starting Friday night in Lincoln for Game 1. Game 2 will be Saturday night in Lincoln as well before moving to Sioux Falls for Game 3 on Tuesday, April 14th.
