RoughRiders, Swiss Valley Farms Team Up for Cowbell Night Saturday

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The first 1,500 fans through the doors to this Saturday night's game between the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and the Waterloo Black Hawks at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena will receive free cowbells courtesy of Swiss Valley Farms.

Swiss Valley Farms Cowbell Night will give fans the opportunity to make extra noise during the Riders' clash with the Blacks Hawks. The game faces off at 7:05PM.

Saturday night's game also marks the renewal of the battle for the i wireless Corridor Cup. The i wireless Corridor Cup is awarded annually to the winner of the Cedar Rapids-Waterloo regular season series.

After Saturday night's game, fans will have a chance to join the RoughRiders at Pizza Ranch in Hiawatha and enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza and soft drinks for just $5. Pizza Ranch is located at 1195 Boyson Road in Hiawatha.

For over 45 years, Swiss Valley Farms dairy cooperative has been a strong presence in the upper Midwest dairy industry, providing a strong and secure market for the quality milk produced by over 1,100 of Swiss Valley Farms' dairy producer member-owners.

Starting as a single store in Hull, Iowa, the Pizza Ranch has grown steadily and now has franchises in eight states. Pizza Ranch is the largest regional pizza chain in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The RoughRiders (21-11-1, 43 points) are tied for first place in the United States Hockey League's East Division. The Riders will open this weekend Friday night with a home game against the Omaha Lancers before welcoming the Black Hawks Saturday evening. Friday night's game also starts at 7:05PM.

Tickets for all remaining RoughRider regular season home games- including this weekend's- are now on sale. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
