RoughRiders Set to Play Madison for First Exhibition Matchup

Hey Ridertown, the RoughRiders are back! They take on the Madison Capitols at 7:00 pm on Friday in their first exhibition matchup of the season. The teams will also play again at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, Wisconsin on Saturday night
This will be the first game since 2020 for both the RoughRiders and Capitols as both teams were idle in the 2020-21 USHL season. The RoughRiders did not participate due to Derecho damage to ImOn Ice Arena. The Capitols were idle due to Covid-19 restrictions in their county last season.
The RoughRiders will take on a familiar face tonight as Tom Upton will make his debut as Head Coach of the Capitols after being hired in 2020. Upton was an assistant coach with the RoughRiders in 2013-14.

The RoughRiders home opener is October 16th against the Des Moines Buccaneers at 7:05 pm at ImOn Ice Arena. To order season tickets, please call our office at (319) 247-0340. Single Game and Flex Pack tickets will go on sale later in September.
