Black Hawks Announce Promotional Nights

Waterloo, Iowa - Three weeks from today, the Waterloo Black Hawks will play their first home game of the new season versus the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, and fans in attendance at Young Arena will receive a 2021/22 poster schedule from Karen's Print Rite in Waterloo. It will be the first giveaway item during a 60th season filled with special offers, events, and swag.

The Hawks revealed their promotional schedule on Friday. The home opener will also be highlighted by a tailgate party before the puck drops. It's also the first of this season's 13 Fleet Farm Friday Nights. During each Fleet Farm Friday, one fan chosen at random will receive a $50 Fleet Farm gift card.

"October 1st is just the beginning of a year we believe our fans will enjoy tremendously," said Black Hawks President of Business Operations Joe Greene. "In an anniversary season like this one, we will of course have many beloved promotions like our annual Teddy Bear Toss and youth jersey giveaway, but we are also adding some new things like the Black Hawks Bike Crawl and a Cal Petersen bobblehead giveaway."

The Teddy Bear Toss will be conducted on Thanksgiving; this will also be the 50th Thanksgiving home game. Youth jerseys will be presented to the first 500 kids in attendance aged 2-12 when Waterloo meets Lincoln on October 22nd. The Black Hawks Bike Crawl is slated for March 12th and will be an opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to welcome spring ahead of Waterloo's matchup versus the Omaha Lancers. The Cal Petersen bobblehead night is planned for April 8th when the Hawks host the Fargo Force.
