RoughRiders Announce Captains for 2018-2019 Season

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders today announced their captains for the 2018-2019 season, their 20th in Cedar Rapids.

Forward Liam Walsh was named team captain. Walsh, from Bridgeville, PA, is in his fourth season with the RoughRiders. Walsh has skated in 128 games with the team. He is committed to Merrimack College.

The team also announced two alternate captains, Defenseman Kyle Looft and Forward Jason Polin. Polin, from Holt, Mi, is entering his 3rd season with the organization and is committed to Western Michigan. He has played in 105 games with the team.

Looft enters his 2nd year with the team. He skated in 58 games last season but has yet to play a game this season due to injury. The North Mankato, MN native is committed to Bemidji State.

The RoughRiders host the Chicago Steel Saturday night at The Stable. Puck drops at 7:05 pm. Tickets are available and can be purchased by calling 319-247-0340 or online at www.roughridershockey.com
