The following is the Day 1 report from the 2011 Roughrider Training Camp.

PLAYS OF THE DAY
The competition at running back looks to be strong as the first day of training camp saw a number of impressive runs. Incumbent Brandon West had a couple of strong runs, while newcomers Kory Sheets and Demetrius Crawford impressed the crowd with their speed.
FAN DAY
Hundreds of fans packed the U of R practice field today for the Riders first full practice of the year. Following practice, players and coaches spent time with the fans taking pictures and signing autographs.
TONIGHT
Players will meet with coaches and continue learning the playbook at Luther College.
TOMORROW
Players and coaches will hit the practice field at the University of Regina for Day 2 of training camp with two practice sessions. The first practice will take place at 8:15, while the second will start at approximately 3:30.
