Roughnecks to Host World Cup Watch Party

It only comes once every four years and the Tulsa Roughnecks want to give you a chance to watch a game with fans and friends who are just as passionate about it as you are!

The Roughnecks, 2 Works For You and The Buzz Sports Radio Network are hosting a World Cup Watch Party at ONEOK Field for the United States versus Portugal match that will be played on Sunday, June 22.

Admission to the Watch Party will be free so that fans of all ages can enjoy the game together. The game will be shown live on the stadium big screen.

Concession stands will be open and selling a large selection of food and beverages to help you enjoy the game.

The match will be the second for the United States in the World Cup which is being held in Brazil. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00PM with stadium gates at ONEOK Field opening at 3:30PM.

In addition to the game, there will be a number of soccer activities on the field for players of all ages. There will be a free-play area with portable goals for pickup games, plus a juggling contest, a shooting area, a dribbling relay race and more. Several of the activities will award prizes for winners by age and gender.

Attendees are asked to wear tennis shoes instead of cleats to participate in the on-field activities.

Throughout the world, people come together to watch the games of the World Cup. Now, the Roughnecks, 2 Works For You and The Buzz invite you to enjoy the same experience in downtown Tulsa. Put on your red, white and blue, and we will see you at ONEOK Field on June 22!
