CALGARY, AB - Calgary Roughnecks President and General Manager Brad Banister announced today that the club has signed Cayle Ratcliff and Joe Vetere to one year deals. Terms of the deals were not disclosed and are subject to league approval.
Ratcliff, a 22-year-old forward, suited up for the Nanaimo Timbermen during the off-season, tallying 22 goals and 31 assists for 53 points. In 17 regular season games with Nanaimo, Ratcliff notched five power play goals and 10 power play assists.
Ratcliff, who is the younger brother of former Roughnecks' forward Lewis Ratcliff, spent his first season with the Roughnecks in 2009 but didn't see any floor time.
