
Roughnecks set new playoff records

CALGARY, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks set a number of new National Lacrosse League records this past weekend during the Western Division Final against the San Jose Stealth.
Not only did they set the record for longest shutout streak in the playoffs, but recorded the first game winning goal in the playoffs by a netminder.
The Roughnecks held the Stealth scoreless until 24 seconds into the fourth, recording a new league record for keeping the opposition off the board for 45 minutes and 24 seconds.
Goaltender Matt King also set a record when he notched the game winning goal at 14:59 of the first frame.
