March 17, 2009 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Calgary Roughnecks News Release
Calgary, AB - The National Lacrosse League's Trade Deadline came and went without so much as a peep from the Calgary Roughnecks. While other teams were moving players left, right, and center in order to up their ammunition going into the last half of the season, the Roughnecks opted to remain as one.
"We are one hundred per cent confident in the character, determination and hard work that each and every one of our players have shown and will show in the future," said Brad Banister, President and General Manager.
"We started this journey together and will end this journey together."
The Calgary Roughnecks (7-2) enter this weekend's matchup with the Colorado Mammoth atop the Western Division, as well as first in the league. In nine games this season, the Riggers have a 3-1 home record combined with a 4-1 road record.
