Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced their 20-player active roster for the 2015 National Lacrosse League season. The roster includes 19 names from the 2014 season with free-agent defenceman Jeff Moleski completing the active list.
The returning players include Dane Dobbie, who led the league with a career-high 51 goals last season, captain Andrew McBride, the franchise leader in games played (182), and transition player Geoff Snider, who finished the 2014 regular season with a league-leading 317 face-off wins. Moleski, who spent six seasons with Calgary from 2005-10, played 17 games with the Vancouver Stealth last season.

The Roughnecks Showcase Weekend continues Sunday, Dec. 21 with a Select-a-Seat event, giving fans the chance to choose from the best available seat locations for the 2015 NLL season, starting at 10:00 a.m., and Train Like A Pro workshops, providing 150 minor lacrosse players with the opportunity to get on the turf to practice their lacrosse skills.
The Roughnecks open the 2015 NLL regular season at home on Saturday, Jan. 3 when the Vancouver Stealth visit the Scotiabank Saddledome for a 7:00 p.m. start. Be sure to Come for the Party & Stay for the Game as the Roughnecks tailgate party opens two hours before face-off and continues post-game in Dutton's Lounge and the Chrysler Club. Pre and post-game events are open to all ages.
