Roughnecks and Titans Square off
February 27, 2009 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Calgary Roughnecks News Release
The Calgary Roughnecks make their trip to the Big Apple this weekend to take on the New York Titans who currently sit third in the Eastern Division with a 5-4 record. Game time is 10:30 a.m. MT Saturday at Madison Square Garden. (FAN 960, nll.com)
The Roughnecks finished last week with a disappointing one goal loss to the expansion Boston Blazers at the Pengrowth Saddledome. After starting the season with a strong 5-0 record, the Riggers have now tallied two straight losses bringing their record to 5-2.
The Titans collected their fourth loss this past weekend to the Rochester Knighthawks, but had an eight point spread in their game.
Calgary continues to lead the Western Division standings, but if they wish to stay on top they are going to have to make some adjustments to their fourth quarter game.
Both teams will be looking to revive themselves on Saturday and get their teams headed back in the right direction.
Fans can catch all the action live on nll.com or by tuning in to Pat Steinberg on the FAN 960 radio.
