MIDLAND, TX. : The West Texas Roughnecks have announced on Thursday, May 6 that the West Texas Roughnecks and Director of Operations Ernie Salcido have parted ways. Following incidents that have occurred outside the West Texas Roughnecks Professional Football organization, Salcido has been relieved of his duties as Director of Operations within the Roughnecks Front Office.
"We are appalled by this situation, and we had no knowledge of any of the situations that Ernie Salcido was involved with. We are making the necessary changes and moving forward at this point." stated West Texas Roughnecks Team Owner Dale Morris.
