Rough Riders to hold tryouts

Peoria Rough Riders News Release
Peoria, Illinois - The Rough Riders first tryout for the 2005 team is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Saturday January 22nd at the Dragons Dome (www.dragonsdome.com) at 3401 Griffin Ave in Pekin, IL. The tryout fee is $ 50 payable in cash or money order (no personal checks) the day of registration. Registration will begin at 8 am. For more information, contact the Peoria Rough Riders office at 309-637-7777.
They tryout will be conducted indoors. Each participant should have tennis or an indoor type athletic shoe to wear. Players should come dressed (i.e. shorts, t-shirts, etc.). Locker rooms will NOT be provided. This is a non-contact tryout. Football equipment will not be required
***ALL PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER***
Testing will consist of:
40-yard sprints
Pro Shuttle
Standing long jump
Position drills
Season tickets are on sale now at the Rough Riders office and can be purchased by calling (309) 637-7777 and asking for Ticket Manager Jodi Rathbun or any member of the Rough Rider Staff. You can also stop in the office at 456 Fulton Street, Suite 203 between the hours of 8-5 and purchase your seat in person.
