
Coach Cowdrey back for sixth year, announces staff

Peoria, Illinois â Bruce Cowdrey returns for his 6th season with the Peoria Indoor Football as Head Coach of the Peoria Rough Riders. Cowdrey has accumulated a record of 61-26, winning championships in 2000 and 2002 and finished runner-up in 1999 and 2004. When asked about coaching in the United Indoor Football league (UIF), Coach Cowdrey stated " Peoria has won championships in both the IFL and af2 and is ready to win one in the UIF".
Returning with Coach Cowdrey will be Chuck Goodwin as Defensive Coordinator, Jim Donahue as the Defensive Back Coach and John Johnson returns for his 3rd season as Line and Special Teams Coach. Goodwin and Donahue coached with Cowdrey in 1999, 2000 in the IFL and 2004 in the af2.
