
Roster Updates for 2019 Petes Training Camp

Peterborough Petes News Release
(Peterborough, ON) - Following a player welcome and fitness testing on Monday afternoon, Peterborough Petes General Manager Mike Oke announced the following updates regarding the 2019 Petes Training Camp roster of players:
- Petes prospects Matthew Perciballi (PBO's 5th round, 83rd overall, 2018) and Yuri Ushakov (PBO's 11th round, 213th overall, 2019) are unable to participate due to injury
- Free agent invites Thomas Johnston and Dakota Seaman are unable to participate due to injury
Additionally, as was the case prior to the 2018-19 OHL season, Petes defenceman Ryan Merkley has reported to the San Jose Sharks ahead of their training camp activities, making him unavailable for the Petes Training Camp.
Petes 2019 Training Camp presented by East Side Mario's, Lansdowne Place, Pat McAuley Bowes & Cocks Real Estate, and Hybrid FHP continues with six 25-minute scrimmages between Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday, August 28 before Wednesday's annual Maroon and White game at 4:05pm, all at the Evinrude Centre. Training Camp will conclude with three games as part of the OHL's Pre-Season Showcase in Kitchener on Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1. Events held at the Evinrude Centre are open to the public. All training camp game stats will be available on the Petes website.
