OMAHA, Neb. - The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League have recalled left wing Mark Rooneem from the ECHL's Texas Wildcatters, the teams announced Saturday. Rooneem is expected to be available tonight when the Aeros take on the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.
Rooneem, 24 (1/9/83), has posted 11 points (6-5=11) and 41 penalty minutes in 33 games for Texas this season. The 6-foot-2, 191-pound native of Hinton, Alta., has one goal in seven career games with Houston in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. Minnesota signed Rooneem as a free agent June 3, 2004.
