Moncton Wildcats News Release

In his first Wildcats game between the pipes, goaltender Keegan Warren made a huge impression with 27 saves and First Star honours as the Cats downed the Sea Dogs 4-2 before 3,500 fans at TD Station Saturday night. Keegan is the son of former Wildcats star Morgan Warren and began this season with the Yarmouth Mariners of the MJHL.

The win lifts Moncton to a 4-2 record this season - all road victories. Rugged winger Vincent Collard scored the late game-winner at 15:52 of the third period to snap a 2-2 tie. Centreman Julius Sumpf added an empty net marker on a deflection from centre ice to seal the win for the Wildcats in their first meeting with Saint John. Other Cats goals went to Yoan Loshing on a feed from Sumpf, and Thomas Auger.
