Rookie Brouillette Signs with Inferno

COLUMBIA, S.C. (August 9, 2007) - Head Coach Troy Mann has announced that defenseman Julien Brouillette has agreed to terms for the 2007-08 season.

Brouillette, 5'11", 185 lbs., played for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the last four seasons. The St. Esprit, Quebec native scored a career high of 53 points last year netting 10 goals and 43 assists in 68 games. During the 2005-06 season, he scored 52 points (10g-42a) in 70 games.

"Julien is a solid puck moving defenseman with an offensive upside," said Coach Mann. "He is a player that possesses real good hockey sense and will give us another option on the power play. I am looking for Julien to make an impact as one of our first year players."
