NEWS & NOTES
Yoel Romero's walk-off home run was the Cyclones' first in quite a while. Brooklyn's last game-ending tater came nearly eight years ago to the day, struck by Amauris Valdez against Tri-City on August 22, 2011 to give Brooklyn a 3-2 win in eight innings.
- Brooklyn celebrated its fourth walk-off win of the season, three of which have come in the last two weeks. Brooklyn is also now 6-3 in extra innings.
The Cyclones once again own sole possession of first place in the Wild Card, a half-game above Staten Island and Aberdeen and one game over Batavia.
