CONEY ISLAND, NY - Despite a two-run eighth inning, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, lost 5-4 to the Aberdeen IronBirds who swept the series at MCU Park Saturday.

BIG MOMENTS
Luke Ritter's two-run double in the eighth pulled the Cyclones to within one run at 5-4. Brooklyn was retired in order in the ninth against Aberdeen's Conor Gillespie.
Martin Cervenka cranked a two-run home run in Aberdeen's three-run third inning to push the 'Birds' lead to 4-0.
Yoel Romero blasted his second Cyclones home run, bashing a two-run homer over the scoreboard in left field in the fourth to make it 4-2.
