Medford Rogues News Release

KLAMATH FALLS, OR - The Rogues had trouble getting on the board in game three against the Klamath Falls Gems. The Gems spread their scoring out between the third, fourth and sixth innings, jumping to an early 4-0 lead, but the Rogues were unable to complete the comeback in the late innings and fell to the Gems, 4-3.

Max Bethell got the start and the loss for the Rogues going three innings, giving up four hits and one run. He struck out three and walked one. Garrett Alvarez was very strong on the mound for the Gems, going seven innings, giving up one earned one on seven hits, striking out seven with no walks. Despite getting nine hits on the night, the Rogues had trouble scoring early. Brock Pradere had a two-hit night and also scored a run for Medford, improving his batting average to .200. The Rogues now look ahead to their next series when they face Bellingham at Harry and David Field for the weekend series, including Paint the Park Pink.

Harry and David Field will have more pink than green in the stands when the Bellingham Bells visit Medford, July 25 at 6:35pm. The Medford Rogues, teaming up Providence Health and Services, 107.5 Kiss FM, and KOOL 103.5, will be hosting Paint the Park Pink as they help support the fight against breast cancer.

"We're so grateful for the support of the Medford Rogues, as well as the community, as we continue to fight breast cancer in southern Oregon," said Katie Shepard, executive director of the Providence Community Health Foundation. "This is an opportunity to show women in the valley that we care about their health. What a great event!"

In addition to a supersized pink themed game night, the Medford Rogues will be wearing special edition pink jerseys and using pink Harmony Bats to be auctioned off to raise additional funds for breast cancer research and awareness. Please see attached photos. The silent auction will take place during the game, so fans will be able to bid on the player's game- worn jersey, and receive from the player after the game on the field.

Along with the themed jerseys, the Rogues will have a special ticketing pricing for this special event as well. Fans will be able to purchase four bleacher tickets for $25 with the Rogues donating $5 back (regular $32). This deal is only available online and advance only, using promo code "Pink2015." Fans who are wearing pink and purchase their ticket at the box office on game day, will have $1 of their purchase donated.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.medfordrogues.com or over the phone at 541-973-2883.
