Rodriguez Named East Division's Most Outstanding Rookie

Hamilton, Ontario - The Canadian Football League announced today that Hamilton Tiger-Cats wide receiver Prechae Rodriguez has been named the East Division's nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie.
Rodriguez led the Tiger-Cats with 1,099 receiving yards and led all CFL rookies with 70 receptions and seven receiving touchdowns in 14 games this season.
Rodriguez's best performance of the season came against Montreal in Week 15, when he tied Jimmy Edwards' 32-year-old Ticats single-game reception record of 12, while also adding 198 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
The winners will be announced at the 2008 Gibson's Finest CFL Player Awards show during Grey Cup week on Thursday, November 20.
