The WHL, Ipsco Place and most importantly, the Swift Current Broncos have been a big help in allowing the Pats to change the game to Sunday night.
When the WHL schedule was originally ironed out earlier this summer, the CFL's semi-finals were scheduled for the second Sunday in November, but a schedule change on the CFL's part has forced the game change.
Regina Pats General Manager, Brent Parker, "We all recognize the significance of a Riders Home Playoff Game and the grip that it is going to have on the province and thus it was an easy decision for us to make. With the CFL changing their dates after our schedule was completed we were fortunate that we were dealing with a team in close proximity so it made it easier to get the conflicting date changed. We appreciate the consideration and the cooperation of both the WHL and The Swift Current Broncos on this matter ."
