
Rocks rained out in Kinston

Kinston, NC --- The Wilmington Blue Rocks and the Kinston Indians saw game two of their three-game series rained out at Grainger Stadium on Thursday night. After a 45-minute delay, the game was called due to poor field conditions.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 7 with game one at 6:00 p.m. Both games are slated for seven innings each. It marks the fifth rainout of the season for Wilmington.
The first-place Blue Rocks will throw right-hander Matt Goodson (0-4 4.56) in the opener and lefty Andrew Dobies (6-4, 3.93) in the nightcap.
