Rockies, Mariners Exhibition Tickets On Sale Saturday

February 16, 2010 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Tickets for the Albuquerque Isotopes' Major League Weekend, a pair of Spring Training exhibition games between the Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners, will go on sale to the public this Saturday, February 20 at 10:00 AM at the Isotopes Park Box Office, on-line at www.albuquerquebaseball.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

The games will be played on April 2 and April 3 and will feature two teams that are packed with notable players that are scheduled to appear. The Rockies, led by last year's National League Manager of the Year Jim Tracy, are the defending NL Wild Card winners and include perennial All-Star Todd Helton as well as shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and first baseman Jason Giambi. Meanwhile, perhaps no team in Major League Baseball was as aggressive this off-season as Seattle, which added Cy Young Award winner Cliff Lee, infielders Chone Figgins and Casey Kotchman, and outfielder Eric Byrnes to a roster that already includes a pair of future Hall of Famers in Ken Griffey Jr. and Ichiro. The Mariners also have a link to the Albuquerque Dukes, as manager Don Wakamatsu played catcher for the Dukes from 1992-93.

Tickets are affordably priced at $25 for one game or $45 for both in all seating sections except Club Level, which will be sold for $35 for one game and $65 for both.

The Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will begin their season on April 8 with the home opener taking place on April 12. For information on 2010 Isotopes season tickets, mini-plans, or group outings next year, visit www.albuquerquebaseball.com.
