
Rockets To Honour Champions

Kelowna, BC: The Kelowna Rockets are pleased to announce that they will honour Jamie Benn, Tylers Myers, Jeff Thorburn and Stepan Novotny in a special ceremony prior to tonight's game versus the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Jamie Benn, Tyler Myers and Athletic Therapist Jeff Thorburn who won Gold with Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championships will be honoured while Stepan Novotny, a member of the Czech Republic, will also be recognized.
In honour of the celebration the Rockets have released 120 tickets for tonight's game.
The Rockets currently sit in fourth place in the Western Conference, one point behind the defending Memorial Cup Champion Spokane Chiefs. Tonight marks the fourth game of a seven game home stand. Puck drops tonight at 7:00, following the special ceremony.
