Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats will return to the ice Friday night, and they will welcome back four familiar faces, and one brand new face to the line-up against the Swift Current Broncos.

Team Canada gold medalists Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert will be fresh off a finals win over Sweden this past Monday night. It was a great tournament individually for both, as Eberle was 3rd in overall scoring, while Teubert was one of Canada's shut-down defencemen.

Dominick Favreau and Jordan Weal are back from the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Port Alberni, B.C. Favreau was a member of the fourth place finishing Team West, and Weal picked up a silver medal playing for Team Pacific.

Power play specialist Matt Robertson will make his Pats debut on Friday night. He was acquired Tuesday afternoon in a trade with the Prince Albert Raiders for Michael MacAngus.

The Pats still await the arrival of forward Rudolf Cerveny, who is enjoying some time off in the Czech Republic after playing in the World Junior Hockey Championship for the Czech's.

All five players will take to the ice for practice on Thursday afternoon at 2:30. Game time for Friday's huge Eastern Conference match-up with the Swift Current Broncos is 7pm.
