Kelowna Rockets President/GM Bruce Hamilton announced on Monday that head coach Brad Ralph will be pursuing other coaching opportunities this coming season and the Rockets and Ralph have agreed to part ways.

Ralph was hired as the Rockets head coach last summer and guided Kelowna to a 48-20-4-0 record, this past season, losing out in the WHL Western Conference Championship.

"I'm appreciative of the opportunity given to me by the Rockets this past season," said Ralph. "I'm

very proud of the success which the club enjoyed in reaching the Western Conference finals. I wish the club and its players the best of success in the future."

The search for a replacement for Ralph will begin immediately.

"I want to take this opportunity to thank Brad and his family for their time with us and I wish him all the best in his future hockey endeavours," said Hamilton.

Interested applicants for the position should contact Bruce Hamilton by e-mail only (no phone calls) at bruceh@kelownarockets.com.
