P.E.I. Rocket News Release
The P.E.I. Rocket Hockey Club has traded forward Alexandre Boivin (1988-05-25) and a 6th round pick in the 2006 QMJHL draft to the Gatineau Olympiques for P.E.I. native Geoff Walker (1987-02-19) and seventeen year old defenseman Adam MacArthur (6'2" 190 lbs)
Walker (6'2" 226lbs) was drafted in the second round (32nd overall) by the Gatineau Olympiques in the 2004 QMJHL draft.
In 32 games with the Couchiching Terriers of the Ontario Junior A hockey league this year, MacArthur has 7 goals and 8 assists along with 73 penalty minutes.
"We are very pleased to pick up two quality players. Walker has been around the hockey club for the past month and we are looking forward to adding his physical and offensive upside to our hockey club." said Rocket Head Coach Yanick Jean
"MacArthur is a strong, young defenseman who had many OHL hockey teams after his rights. We are very happy to have acquired him." added Coach Jean.
