
Dubuc Traded To Huskies for Mealy

The P.E.I. Rocket Hockey Club has traded forward Michael Dubuc (1988-06-29) to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. In return the Rocket receive from the Huskies twenty year old defenseman Travis Mealy (5'11" 206 lbs) along with a 4th round pick in 2007 QMJHL draft and a 8th round pick in 2006 QMJHL draft. In 35 games this year, the Brandon Manitoba native had 6 goals and 13 assists and was +5 for the Huskies.
"We have been working very hard to get Mealy from Rouyn-Noranda. He is a solid 20 year old defenseman who will bring stability to our young defensive core." said Serge Savard Jr., President and General Manager of P.E.I. Rocket Hockey Club
In other news the P.E.I. Rocket Hockey Club has traded forward Yanick Charron to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for a 6th round pick in the 2006 QMJHL draft.
