Rockers Look to Rebound against Wausau

Wausau, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers head to Wausau for the fourth time this season to face the Woodchucks, trying to get back in the win column after dropping the game on Thursday night.

Friday's first pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m. from historic Athletic Park.

Green Bay comes into this matchup with the Woodchucks at 8-17 while Wausau is just a game under the .500 mark at 12-13.

In Wednesday night's contest against Wausau, the Rockers fell 6-4 while outhitting the Woodchucks, 12-6.

The Woodchucks' Tim Conway hit his first home run of the season, a grand slam in the fourth to make it, at that point, a 5-1 game.

As for Friday's game, the Rockers will start Dylan Carter. The right-hander from Arkansas is 2-2 this year with a stellar 1.32 ERA.

The Woodchucks bring out Aidan Major. He's had a nice season thus far with Wausau, sporting a 2-0 record and 1.42 ERA.

Following this matchup, The Rockers and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will square off Saturday, this time at Witter Field in Rapids. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
