ROCKIN' THE ROC: Over the weekend, the Red Wing faithful showed out with the two largest crowds at Frontier Field this season...the Wings recorded attendances of 10,510 fans on Friday (6/3) and 10,635 on Saturday (6/4)...Friday was the first time Frontier Field had eclipsed 10,000 fans since August 30, 2019, when 10,118 Red Wing faithful came out to the ballpark...the 30,093 attendees are the most in a three-day span since 2018 when the weekend of July 20-22 saw 30,296 fans.
NEW KID ON THE BLOCK: RHP Cole Henry, did not disappoint, going five innings and allowing just three hits in Sunday's win over Buffalo...the Nationals' no. 4 prospect started seven games for the Senators this year, posting an ERA of 0.76 (28 IP/2 ERA), before getting called up from Double-A Harrisburg...the 22-year old is the youngest pitcher to make a start for the Red Wings this season.
NO NEW FRIENDS: The Rochester Red Wings will face off against the Minnesota Twins Triple-A affiliate, a title the Red Wings claimed for 17 seasons (18 years including '20)...the Saint's roster features five former Red Wings, including two coaches, who combine for 333 games played in a Wings uniform...Saints manager and 2020 Red Wings Manager (COVID) Toby Gardenhire leads the group with 153 games played in a Red Wings uniform, having done so during the 2010 and 2011 seasons...Virgil Vasquez, Gardenhire's pitching coach, appeared in 16 games for the Red Wings during 2013-14...Jake Cave (107 games), John Andreoli (43 games), Caleb Hamilton (11 games), and recently-acquired Aaron Sanchez (3 games) round out the group who will be looking to inflict damage upon their former home...Co-Pitching Coach Cibney Bello also spent time with Rochester in a similar role in 2019.
TOP DAWG: With Sunday's 11-2 win over Buffalo, the Rochester Red Wings improve to 6-2-1 in series this year...headed into the series with Buffalo, Rochester had just a +1.5 game lead over the Bisons for first place in the International League-East...with the 4-2 series win, the lead is up to +3.5 games...Rochester has held at least a share of first place for 31 days and counting...the Red Wings' 35-19 record is the best in the International League...the last time Rochester had the best record in the International League this late in the season was 2016 when they held a share of first place at 30-24 (SWB & COL).

GUSHING OVER GUSHUE: Catcher Taylor Gushue's two-run homer extended his hitting and multi-RBI streak to six and three games, respectively...in 2022, the switch-hitter has posted five total multi-RBI games, including two with his time with Double-A Harrisburg, and is now batting .216 (8-for-37).
CAN'T HIT THIS JACKPOT: RHP Jackson Tetreault will get the start today which comes after his most recent outing where he went six innings, giving up just one run for Rochester on June 2...he leads the team with a 3.15 ERA, the fifth-best in the International League with his .217 batting average against ranking fourth...over his last six starts, Tetreault has gone 5-0 with a 1.45 ERA (37.2 IP/ 6 ER)...the righty has eclipsed 80 pitches in every outing during that span after reaching the 80 pitch mark in just two of his first five starts...Tetreault has only allowed multi-hit innings in four of his last 37.2 IP...his six runs allowed during the time period have all come via home run.
