
Rochester Red Wings and Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs to Play One Game Today

ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings and Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies) today will play one nine-inning game at 1:05 p.m. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday, July 8 beginning at 12:05 p.m. Both games on July 8 will be seven innings long. General Manager Dan Mason made the announcement.
Tickets from yesterday's game may be exchanged for any remaining Red Wings or Empire State Yankees regular-season game in 2012, including today's game and the July 8 doubleheader. All ticket exchanges must be made at the Frontier Field box office. For more information, call (585) 423-WING (9464).
The Red Wings played their first 16 games without a postponement due to weather, the longest such streak since 2002. The club's 18th game that year, an April 22 clash at Buffalo (Indians), was rained out and played as part of a doubleheader the next day.
