May 11, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Evansville BlueCats News Release
After starting 3 quarterbacks in their first 5 games, the Evansville Bluecats seem to have finally found their man. Ramon Robinson proved that Coach Ollie Guidry made the right decision with a record-breaking performance in the Bluecats' 88-84 victory over the Show-Me Believers Saturday night.
Robinson has also been rewarded as he earned NIFL Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for week 9. Robinson lead his team to the hard fought victory by completing 28 of 36 passes for a league record 399 yards and 7 touchdowns. The up and coming quarterback's 404 total offensive yards also set a league standard.
Robinson will take his 9th rated passer rating back to the "Fish Bowl" this Saturday as the Bluecats come home to face the Atlantic City Card Sharks at Roberts Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM as the âCats look to extend their win streak to 3 and go above .500 for the 1st time in their short history.
