Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 2002 born left winger Landon Roberts to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Roberts, a Souris, Manitoba native, was selected by Tri-City in the sixth round (129th overall) of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
"Landon has shown tremendous progress and development over the past season. His preparation for our training camp was evident in his performance," stated Tory. "We are happy that Landon and his family have chosen the Tri-City Americans and the WHL for his hockey development."
The 6'3, 200-pound forward played last season with the Southwest Cougars Midget AAA of the MMHL. In 46 games played, Roberts totaled 20 points (13 goals and 7 assists) and 48 penalty minutes.
"After talking with my family, I'm happy to stay in Tri-City and sign with the Americans! I'm very thankful for this opportunity and look forward to being part of the Americans organization," stated Roberts.
Single game tickets for all 2019-20 Americans home games are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the Toyota Center Box Office or online from Ticketmaster.
