
Roanoke acquires Matt Carroll

GREENVILLE, S.C., December 11 â The Roanoke Dazzle has acquired guard Matt Carroll and waived guard Terrence Hill, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Dazzle head coach Kent Davison.
Carroll, 6-6, 212, played 11 games with the Dazzle last season before being signed by the San Antonio Spurs for the remainder of the year on March 8, making him the 13th of 17 GATORADE NBDL-to-NBA callups last season. A late season addition to the 03-04 Roanoke roster, the Notre Dame ('03) product averaged 32.4 minutes, 15.5 points and 2.8 rebounds.
In training camp with the Golden State Warriors prior to this season, Carroll has played in 13 NBA games with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Spurs, averaging 4.4 minutes and 1.2 points.
Carroll is expected to play tonight when the Dazzle is host to Roanoke. He will wear jersey #13.
