Phoenix RoadRunners News Release

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL announced today that they will spread some early holiday cheer by guaranteeing a win for their home fans when they host the Utah Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. Friday at US Airways Center.

Touted as their first ever "Guaranteed Win Night", the RoadRunners will put their ECHL-best 9-4-2 home record and their streak of six wins in the last 10 games against Utah at US Airways Center on the line when they battle the Grizzlies in the second game of a two-game series.

Should the RoadRunners somehow fail to garner a victory, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket redeemable at the US Airways Center box office for either the Dec. 27 home game against Ontario or the Dec. 30 home date against Bakersfield.

The RoadRunners will also be hosting a cereal food drive at Friday's game to benefit St. Mary's Food Bank. Fans can receive a voucher good for one $5 ticket to Friday's game redeemable at the US Airways Center Box Office for each box of cereal that they donate.

In addition to cereal, the St. Mary's Food Bank will be accepting any and all donations of non-perishable items.

Santa Claus will also be paying a special visit to Friday's game and giving RoadRunners' fans a chance to take pictures and send their last-minute holiday wishes.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:05 p.m. Thursday as they welcome the Utah Grizzlies for a two-game series.
