
Rays Secure Four Key Division Points over Weekend

The Week That Was... The Stingrays traveled down to division-leading Florida to play two back-to-back games against the Everblades.
On Friday, Bobby Goepfert earned his second shut-out of the year and Nate Kiser scored his first goal of the season as the Rays defeated Florida 3-0.
Saturday night Travis Morin scored four goals and Ian Vigier got his first win in his first ECHL start, as the Stingrays defeated the Florida Everblades 7-3. The Rays scored three power play goals in the victory.

Travis Morin is 14th in the ECHL with 26 points.
Michal Neuvirth leads the league with a 1.74 goals-against average and .938 save percentage while Bobby Goepfert is second in the league with a 1.87 goals-against average, and third with a .932 save percentage.
Michael Dubuc is 10th among rookies in points (20), and 5th in shots (70).
Johann Kroll is 2nd among rookies with 8 power play assists and 12th among defensemen with 14 points.
Brad Farynuk is 10th among defensemen with 14 points, is third in goals (6), is tied for second with 2 game-winning goals and is fifth with 10 power play points.
Zach Tarkir's +12 ranks 4th among defenseman.
The Rays power play is 1st in the league at 27.2%. The team is 11th on the penalty kill with 84.2%.

Goepfert Called up to Hershey Bears
The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/General Manager Jared Bednar announced today goaltender Bobby Goepfert has been called up to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
