
Road Warriors Receive Chris McKelvie from Connecticut

GREENVILLE, SC -The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that forward Chris McKelvie has been loaned to the team by the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League.
McKelvie joins the Road Warriors after beginning his rookie season with the Whale/Hartford Wolf Pack. He spent 15 games in the AHL and notched three points (1G, 2A) and 15 penalty minutes in 15 games. Last season, McKelvie played six games with the Wolf Pack on an amateur tryout contract and recorded two goals along with one assist. The 6-1, 200-pound forward played four seasons collegiately at Bemidji State Univesity. McKelvie was most productive as a senior with eight goals and 10 assists in 37 games for the Beavers. For his career, McKelvie had 33 points (18G, 15A) and 88 penalty minutes in 120 games.
