
Riverwalk Stadium Advances to Finals for Best BallPark Contest

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Montgomery Biscuits and Riverwalk Stadium have advanced to the final round in the Ballpark Digest's Double-A Best of Ballparks Contest. The contest began with a pool of 30 stadiums.
In the first round of the contest Riverwalk Stadium defeated Ballpark at Jackson, home of the Jackson Generals. Riverwalk Stadium defeated Whataburger Field, home of the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Texas League in the second round. Round three Riverwalk Stadium beat the Blue Wahoo's Pensacola Bayfront Stadium and in round four defeated the Tennessee Smokies' Smokies Park.
In the final round, Riverwalk Stadium is paired with Southern League rival Regions Field, the home of the Birmingham Barons.
Ballpark Digest contacted the Southern League and determined that the winner will be announced at the end of the second inning of the Southern League All-Star Game presented by Wind Creek Hospitality tomorrow night.
Fans can vote by visiting ballparkdigest.com or clicking the link found on the Biscuits Facebook page. Voting ends at 9 p.m. central time tonight.
