
Riversharks to Donate $20,000 to Local Charities

CAMDEN, NJ. The Camden Riversharks announce that they plan to donate $20,000 to local charities and nonprofit organizations on August 31, 2011. Riversharks will invite local non-profit organizations and charities such as Red Cross and American Cancer Society to participate in their Susquehanna Bank Fundraising Program. For each ticket purchased through the Susquehanna Bank fundraising program, $6 will be donated back to the organization. In addition, the top fundraising organization will be given $1 from each walk up ticket purchased on the day of the game. The Riversharks have set a goal of $20,000. This year the Susquehanna Bank Fundraising Program has raised close to $125,000 for local charities. This event is open to any and all nonprofit organizations that would like to participate. Each participating charity will be honored during the Camden Riversharks v. Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game. Start time is 7:05pm on Tuesday, August 31, 2011.
