
Riversharks End Two-Game Skid

Camden Riversharks News Release
Drew Macias hit two home runs and Josh Towers pitched into the 7th inning as the Riversharks snapped their two-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers. Macias now has five home runs against the Barnstormers this season.
Towers (5-5) did not allow a run until the 7th inning and struck out a season-high six batters on the game.
Jay Marshall came on in the 9th inning to pick up his first save of the season.
Matt Wright (2-8) was the hard-luck loser going eight innings allowing four runs on eight hits.
Drew Macias gave Camden the lead in the 3rd inning with a solo home run, his 7th of the season, to make it 1-0.
Camden extended their lead to 3-0 in the 4th inning against Wright. After Noah Hall drove home Ruddy Yan with an RBI single, Brian Burgamy beat out a fielder's choice that scored Noah Hall in the process.
Brian Burgamy launched a solo home run in the top of the 7th, his team-leading 13th, to make it 4-0 Camden.
The Barnstormers finally got on the board in the bottom of the 7th inning. Tommy Everidge hit a solo home run, his 18th of the season, to cut the deficit to 4-1. Three batters later Brandon Jones lined an RBI single off the right field wall to make it 4-2.
Macias gave Camden an insurance run in the top of the 9th with his second home run of the game to push the lead to 5-2.
